SUMMARY:Take Bluebeam Markups to Finished CAD Work
DESCRIPTION:Markups\, redlines\, as-builts\, and field notes are only valuable if they can be accurately incorporated into final CAD designs. This course shows how to take your Bluebeam Revu markups and convert them into real vector data that can be imported directly into any CAD system at the correct scale and location. You’ll learn how to organize layers\, control display\, and efficiently bring markup data into CAD workflows\, turning PDF annotations into actionable design elements. \nThis live online course is offered as a four-hour course. Each session is 2 hours. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses. Classes are taught by Bluebeam Certified Professionals. \nNote: Instructor will present using Bluebeam Revu Complete 21 and AutoCAD 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version. Some tools shown may not be available in Revu Basics or Core. Looking for this class in Bluebeam Revu 2017\, 2018\, 2019\, or 20? Contact us to make arrangements. \nRecording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends. \nSession 1: Working in Bluebeam \n\nWorking With Layers and Display Controls\nCreating New Layer Structures\nSet Layering For Existing Items\nIsolate Layers and Export Data\nCutting/Erasing PDF Content\nFlattening Markups\n\nSession 2: Bringing Markups into CAD \n\nImport Data to CAD as PDF Underlay\nImport Data to CAD as Vector Linework\nAlign/Scale Data in Layout Space\nUse Change Space to Move Data to Model Space
