SUMMARY:Practical Forma Build & Data Management
DESCRIPTION:Autodesk Forma is most powerful when it’s used as a connected system\, and not just a collection of tools. This practical\, workflow-driven course is designed to help you understand how Forma Data Management and Forma Build work together to support the full construction management process from project setup through field execution. Rather than focusing on isolated features\, you’ll learn how to control data flow\, standardize processes\, and create a single source of truth that improves collaboration\, visibility\, and efficiency across your entire project team. \nThis live online course is offered as a four-hour course. Each session is 2 hours. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses. \nRecording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends. \nSession 1: Forma Data Management \n\nBasic Controls: Learn to create a new project\, invite team members\, and configure access permissions based on user roles and company affiliation.\nDocument Controls: Learn to structure project folders\, publish drawings and specifications\, and manage document versions to ensure the team is always working from the latest information.\nInformation Flow: Explore setting up standard naming conventions and permissions to ensure a consistent and secure document management process throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nSession 2: Field Collaboration with Forma Build \n\nIssue Management: Learn to create\, track\, and resolve issues related to quality\, safety\, and general construction observations directly from the mobile app.\nDaily Reporting and Forms: Master the creation of forms for daily reports\, checklists\, safety inspections\, and other crucial field documentation.\nProgress Tracking: Use the platform to track and report on construction progress\, giving the project manager real-time visibility into the status of work.
