AutoCAD – Creating Standards I

May 11 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

Take your AutoCAD skills beyond basic drafting and learn how to build a structured, efficient set of company standards. This course teaches you how to configure templates and blocks to streamline workflows, improve consistency, and save time across projects. You’ll learn to manage templates, layering standards, plotting, and reference files, as well as create and organize blocks – including dynamic and attribute-enabled blocks—using tool palettes to build a reusable library of standards. By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped to implement standards that improve both your productivity and your team’s efficiency.

This course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk AutoCAD 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.
