Pre-Construction Layouts with AutoCAD I

AutoCAD isn’t just for design and drafting. It’s also a powerful tool for pre-construction site setup and document management. This course shows you how to organize projects, manage referenced files, use PDF and image underlays, and compare drawing versions efficiently. You’ll also learn to leverage Sheet Set Manager to centralize and manage entire document sets, ensuring all project stakeholders have access to the right information. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to streamline pre-construction workflows and improve collaboration on any project.

This course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk AutoCAD 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
