Customizing Corridor Assemblies in Civil 3D II

September 25 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm EDT

Building on Level I, this course teaches advanced techniques for creating intelligent, reusable subassemblies with Subassembly Composer. You’ll explore complex geometry, conditional subassemblies, offset and filleted links, and marked points, while learning to organize workflows with embedded flowcharts, sequences, and variables. By the end, you’ll be able to develop automated corridor tools that simplify future projects and improve productivity.

This course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk Civil 3D 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Prerequisite: Students should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.

Session 1: More Advanced Geometry

  • Using Marked Points with Custom Assemblies
  • Filleting Link Segments
  • Creating Offset Links
  • Developing Conditional Subassemblies with Loop Geometry

Session 2: Tools for Workflow

  • Organizing Subassembly Geometry with Embedded Flowcharts and Sequences
