AutoCAD - Creating Standards

AutoCAD - Creating Standards is a two-level training series designed for CAD professionals who want to take control of their drafting environment and establish reliable, efficient company standards. Starting with template management, layering, plotting, and building dynamic, attribute-enabled blocks, the series progresses into advanced techniques such as standardizing Xrefs, using underlays, and leveraging productivity tools like Design Center, Quick Properties, Layer Translator, macros, and scripts. By the end of the series, you’ll be able to implement consistent, high-quality standards that streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and enhance project efficiency across your team.

This live online series offers 2 four-hour courses. You can take both courses or just the one that meets your needs. Each separate course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk AutoCAD 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
