CAD Management for Revit

The CAD Management for Revit training series is designed for current and aspiring CAD and BIM managers who need practical strategies to standardize, control, and maintain Revit projects across their organization. Across Levels I and II, you’ll learn how to build and enforce robust templates, manage worksharing and central models, control project and external link structures, and define consistent annotation, schedule, and parameter standards. The series then advances into daily management workflows, model maintenance, upgrades, staff training strategies, and customization of family libraries, line styles, and fill patterns. By the end of this series, you’ll be equipped to manage scalable, efficient Revit environments that support quality, consistency, and productivity from project setup through delivery.

This live online series offers 2 four-hour courses. You can take both courses or just the one that meets your needs. Each separate course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk Revit 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Prerequisite: Students should have a solid understanding of Revit or have taken the Revit for New Users course series.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
