Creating Revit Templates

The Creating Revit Templates series teaches professionals how to build structured, reusable Revit templates that streamline modeling and maintain consistency across projects. Across two courses, participants learn how to set up essential project elements such as levels, grids, sections, elevations, and title blocks, then advance to configuring view templates, shared parameters, worksets, filters, and custom families. This series equips users to create construction-ready, organized templates that improve efficiency and enforce standards in any BIM workflow.

This live online series offers 2 four-hour courses. You can take both courses or just the one that meets your needs. Each separate course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk Revit 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Prerequisite: Students should have a solid understanding of Revit or have taken the Revit for New Users course series. 

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
