Dynamo for Revit Users

The Dynamo for Revit Users training series is designed to take Revit users from first-time exposure to confident, practical automation. Starting with the fundamentals of Dynamo’s visual programming environment, users learn how Dynamo works, how to think computationally, and how to build simple scripts that support parametric design. As the series progresses, courses focus on node-based scripting, list management, geometry creation, and direct Revit integration, leading into advanced workflows for modifying building components and automating repetitive tasks such as sheet creation, view placement, and data-driven model updates. By completing the full series, participants will be equipped to build reliable Dynamo scripts that improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance BIM workflows across real-world Revit projects.

This live online series offers 4 four-hour courses. You can take all four courses or just the ones that meet your needs. Each separate course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk Revit 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Prerequisite: Students should have a solid understanding of Revit or have taken the Revit for New Users course series.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
