Beginning Autodesk Civil 3D I

This course is designed for anyone new to Autodesk Civil 3D who wants to build a strong foundation in civil and site design. You’ll learn the essentials of navigating the Civil 3D environment, understanding dynamic objects, and working with the program’s powerful drafting and design tools. Whether you’re transitioning from 2D AutoCAD, coming from another design platform, or starting fresh in drafting, this class will give you the skills and confidence to create, manage, and annotate your first Civil 3D projects effectively.

This course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk Civil 3D 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Prerequisite: Students should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
