Customizing Corridor Assemblies in Civil 3D I

The standard Civil 3D assemblies often don’t meet the unique needs of complex corridor designs. This course teaches designers how to create custom subassemblies using Subassembly Composer. You’ll learn the interface, define points, links, shapes, and parameters, and explore advanced geometry techniques such as intersection points, curved geometry, surface links, and daylighting to build assemblies tailored to your projects.

This course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

​Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk Civil 3D 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Prerequisite: Students should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
