Surface Design in Civil 3D I

Mastering surface design in Civil 3D is essential for efficient site modeling and design. This course guides you through the fundamentals of creating, labeling, and displaying surfaces, as well as controlling contour and point styles. You’ll also learn how to manage surface components such as points, boundaries, and breaklines, giving you the skills to develop accurate and professional site surfaces with confidence.

This course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk Civil 3D 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Prerequisite: Students should have a working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
