Training Reimbursement Resources

Did you know that most US states and Canadian provinces offer workforce development grants to reimburse firms for training expenses? With this added incentive, firms can make the investment in their employees to help them become more productive in the technology they use, including Autodesk, Bluebeam, BricsCAD, Procore, and Microsoft.

Processes vary by state/province and program, but to secure a workforce development grant the general steps are listed below. For more information, please contact the appropriate state/province agency using the links in the "State/Province Agencies" section below. ZenTek Consultants does not provide any workforce development grants, nor do we offer assistance in applying for available grants.

Step 1

1. Create a Training Plan for Employee Development

Determine what type of training your firm needs. Explain who in your firm requires training and why. Decide whether training is live online, live in-person, or self-paced (on-demand). ZenTek Consultants offers many training courses that fit with professional development curricula for AEC firms and Government agencies. We offer live online courses and self-paced (on-demand courses).

Step 2

2. Apply for a Grant Through Your Specific State or Province

Click on your appropriate state or province link below to learn more about the training reimbursement grants offered. Read the program guidelines to ensure you qualify. Submit your application with your information and training plan. See below for a list of common resources by country.

Step 3

3. Get Approval

Once you have submitted your application to the appropriate state/province agency, the process may take some time. Keep watch on your emails to provide any additional required information.

Step 4

4. Enroll In and Complete Training

Once you have received approval from the state/province agency, you can register, pay for, and complete the training plan outlined in your grant agreement.

Step 5

5. Submit Receipt and Proof of Training

Submit your receipt and proof of training completion to your state/province agency. We provide a certificate of completion that you can use for your submittal. Please note that some programs may also require reporting data, like turnover rates or employee wages.

Step 6

6. Receive Reimbursement

Once your state/province agency has processed your reimbursement request, you will receive reimbursement according to the terms in your grant agreement.
