It’s Not Always BIM - 2D AutoCAD Architecture is a two-level training series designed for professionals who need efficient, construction-ready drawings without the overhead of full 3D BIM workflows. This course demonstrates how AutoCAD Architecture can be used to produce intelligent 2D plans, elevations, sections, and details that are accurate, coordinated, and easy to manage. Starting with display configurations, sets, and section generation, the series progresses into detail management, project coordination, and standards control using the Project Navigator. By the end of the series, you’ll be able to deliver reliable 2D construction documents faster while maintaining consistency and accuracy across your projects.

This live online series offers 2 four-hour courses. You can take both courses or just the one that meets your needs. Each separate course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk AutoCAD 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
