Construction Documents in Microsoft Word

The Construction Documents in Microsoft Word training series is a comprehensive program designed for construction and AEC professionals responsible for creating, editing, reviewing, and distributing project documentation. From contracts and specifications to forms and reports, Microsoft Word is a critical tool in construction, but one most users are never formally trained to use.

This series begins with essential Word fundamentals and progresses through advanced formatting, document structure, collaboration, and automation techniques. You'll learn how to create consistent, professional documents using styles and templates; manage complex files with tables, headers, and repeating content; control revisions and integrate markups from multiple stakeholders; and automate document creation using forms, templates, and mail merge. By the end of the series, you will be able to produce clear, accurate, and efficient construction documents that meet real-world project and client requirements.

This live online series offers 4 four-hour courses. You can take all courses or just the ones that meet your needs. Each separate course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
