Creating Civil 3D Standards

The Creating Civil 3D Standards course series is designed for CAD Managers and experienced Civil 3D users who want to improve consistency, efficiency, and quality across their projects. Starting with templates, styles, and annotation standards, the series gradually expands into data management, automation, sheet sets, and firm-wide template and block strategies. Rather than focusing on isolated tools, these courses emphasize practical workflows that support repeatable results, easier project setup, and smoother production across teams. By the end of the series, you’ll have a clear framework for building, maintaining, and scaling Civil 3D standards that actually work in day-to-day project environments.

This live online series offers 4 four-hour courses. You can take all 4 courses or just the ones that meet your needs. Each separate course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

​Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk Civil 3D 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Prerequisite: Students should have a working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
