Residential Site Design in Civil 3D

The Residential Site Design in Civil 3D course series is designed for civil professionals who want to move beyond basic modeling and confidently handle the complexities of residential site design using Autodesk Civil 3D. The series begins with advanced surface refinement and roadway features such as intersections and cul-de-sacs, then progresses into detailed section development and accurate volume calculations. Through practical, project-focused instruction, you’ll learn how to apply Civil 3D’s advanced tools to create efficient, precise, and professional residential site designs from concept through construction documentation.

This live online series offers 2 four-hour courses. You can take both courses or just the one that meets your needs. Each separate course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk Civil 3D 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Prerequisite: Students should have a working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
