Building Custom Pipe Structures in Civil 3D

Finding pipe structures and fittings that truly match project or company standards can be one of the most frustrating challenges in Civil 3D. The Building Custom Pipe Structures in Civil 3D course series teaches you how to take control of your content by creating and managing your own custom parts catalogs. Starting with the fundamentals of Part Builder and progressing into advanced 3D modeling and catalog management, you’ll learn how to build, configure, test, and publish reliable pipe structures for real-world use. By the end of the series, you’ll be equipped to create complete, standards-based catalogs tailored to your firm’s design and documentation workflows.

This live online series offers 2 four-hour courses. You can take both courses or just the one that meets your needs. Each separate course is delivered in 2 two-hour sessions. A live instructor explains the detailed functions and addresses questions as the class progresses.

Note: Instructor will present using Autodesk Civil 3D 2026. Students who wish to follow along with instructor are encouraged to use the same version.

Prerequisite: Students should have a working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.

Recording: Registrants for a course will receive access to a recording of each session for 7 consecutive days. Access will start the next business day after the session ends.
